Vietnam is forecast to achieve a growth rate of 6.5% in 2025, maintaining its position among the fastest-growing economies in the ASEAN+3 region, according to the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO)’s report.
This projection is lower than the country’s projected GDP growth of 7.09% for 2024.
Vietnam’s 6.5% growth projection surpasses the regional average, reflecting its recovery from the pandemic. In comparison, Vietnam’s outlook is stronger than its regional peers, such as the Philippines, at 6.3%, Indonesia, 5.1%, and Thailand, 3.1%.
