SpaceX is proposing to invest 5 USD billion in Vietnam for the company’s Starlink satellite service soon, the Southeast Asian country’s government says.
The statement came after a meeting in New York between Vietnamese President To Lam and Tim Hughes, SpaceX’s Senior Vice President for Global Business and Government Affairs.
“The Vietnamese government is considering the (investment) proposal of SpaceX,” Lam, who was visiting the United States to attend the United Nations General Assembly, according to the statement.
