The project will be undertaken by Terra Solar Philippines, a unit of Terra Renewables Holdings Inc. It is a renewable power subsidiary under Prime Infra’s control and in partnership with Solar Philippines Power Project Holdings Inc.
Razon’s infrastructure arm Prime Infrastructure Holdings Inc. says that the facility would boost the country’s supply of renewable energy, which would also be used to provide power to Manila Electric Company (Meralco). The battery storage system will have a capacity of 4,000-4,500 MW per hour.
