Southeast Asia’s digital economy will be worth US$122 billion in 2024, according to the e-Conomy SEA 2024 report.
This comprises digital financial services, e-commerce, travel, online media, food, and transport.
Digital economy revenue for 2023 was US$78 billion in the region.
E-commerce now makes up the bulk of the digital economy revenue, accounting for US$35 billion in 2024.
E-commerce revenue grew by 13%, from US$31 billion in 2023 to US$35 billion in 2024.
