Based on the annual Fragile States Index, Finland is the most ‘sustainable’ country in the world.
Singapore is the best Southeast Asian country, at 162nd place. Vietnam is positioned reasonably well, at 110th.
Meanwhile, the 2020 index ranks Thailand in 82nd place with an index score of 70.8, which is up from its 2019 ranking at 77th place with 73.1. But the Kingdom is still in the “elevated warning” zone together with, for example, Laos.
For obvious reasons, Myanmar is currently the most fragile state in Southeast Asia. It ranks 22nd on the list.
