| Renovation work has started on Kipinä’s first preschool in Cambodia, converting a five-floor property into a showcase school that will have a capacity for 350-400 children from 6 months to 6 years old. The school is expected to start with a soft opening in October 2022, followed by a formal opening in January 2023. Teachers are already undergoing training with Kipinä’s partner Häme University Finland, ready to be onsite already in late August and early September. Kipinä has been warmly welcomed in Asia, with 4 purpose-built schools in Jakarta already enjoying high levels of occupancy. Moreover, two additional schools are under construction there. Eventually, Kipinä expects to have around 20 schools in Indonesia. Kipinä is one of the fastest-growing preschool models featuring Finnish-style early childhood education. With several branches in Indonesia, Cambodia, and eleven other countries, Kipinä keeps growing. It’s also seeking partners and area developers in Asia. |
