For the first time attending the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF), China is competing against Finland, the winner of the 2019 edition.
China is only the second team in Asia to attend the 2024 DIFF along with host Vietnam.
In the preliminaries, the Joho Pyro Professional Fireworks AB from Finland performed with the theme “One Million Dreams,” combining more than 10,000 fireworks by combining music and lights.
The team won the 2019 DIFF.
The jury is selecting the two best teams out of eight participating teams to compete in the final on 13 July.
