The Embassy of Finland in Hanoi is warning about floods and landslides in the mountainous regions of northern Vietnam caused by heavy rains in the aftermath of typhoon Yagi.
Some of the roads may be damaged, and traffic connections may not work normally.
Typhoon Yagi, which struck 6-8 September, resulted in significant destruction across Northern Vietnam, killing 64 people and damaging over 8,000 homes.
Vietnam’s National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting has issued warnings, predicting more rain in the region and landslide risks in 17 provinces.
