Anu Vuori, Consul General of Finland in Shanghai, shared her thoughts on cooperation between China and Finland in a recent CGTN interview.
In the interview, Vuori says there are about 250 Finnish companies in China, many of them in Shanghai, demonstrating the long-standing and solid foundation of trade relations between the two countries.
According to Vuori, the first trade agreement between Finland and China was agreed on already 70 years ago, and the local FinnCham has been operating in Shanghai is 30 years. This shows the deep relationship between the two countries.
Vuori believes that Finland’s advanced technologies and sustainable solutions like carbon reduction and new green, smart energy solutions can contribute to China’s green development.
