Morning Venue: Office Of Deputy Chief Minister, KOMTAR, Level 52, 10503 George Town
- Meeting MSIA, Malaysian Semiconductor Industry Association (8:30 AM – 9:00 AM): Gain insights into Penang’s semicon boom and business opportunities that derives from there.
- Meeting Deputy Chief Minister Jagdeep Singh Deo (9:00-9:30) Focus on the lifestyle benefits of relocating to Penang. We will discuss work/life balance and topics like housing costs, international schools, healthcare facilities, and more.
- Transport to Ferry
- Penang Port Visit & Boat Tour (10:00 AM – 12:45 PM): Explore the second largest port in Malaysia with an introduction to Penang Port services, followed by a scenic boat tour. This is a unique opportunity to understand the port’s operations and its role in national trade. Refreshment and snacks served. Return to Swettenham peer in Georgetown by boat.
- Lunch break
Afternoon venue: INFINITY8 Reserve George Town, 2, Lebuh Pantai, 10300 George Town (walking distance from Swettenham peer)
- Introduction of our venue sponsor Infinity8 co-working spaces (1:30)
- Meeting with Invest Penang (1:45 PM – 2:30 PM): Connect with representatives from InvestPenang and discover the investment opportunities and incentives available for businesses in Penang.
- Penang Startup scence (2:30 PM – 3:00 PM): Gain insights into Penang’s dynamic startup ecosystem with a presentation by Curry Khoo, a key figure in the local entrepreneurial community.
- Penang Institute (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Meet Dato Kee Beng Ooi, Executive Director of Penang Institute, who will introduce the think tank and discuss Penang’s future from their perspective.
- Limited Group: Meeting with Governor (4:00 PM – 5:00 PM): For selected corporate heads of member companies approved by the Governor’s office
Evening Venue: Malaysian-German Society, 250 B, Jalan Air Itam, 10460 George Town
- Malaysia’s Best Oktoberfest by the Malaysian-German Society (7:00 PM – 11:00 PM): Conclude the day by celebrating at Malaysia’s most authentic Oktoberfest, organized by the Malaysian-German Society. Enjoy traditional German food, music, and drinks in a lively atmosphere.
- Special Offer: Any Nordic Business Chamber/Council members are eligible for the MGS member fee.
- Members can invite guests and business associates to the Nordic Table (Non-member guests will be charged the standard fee).

You can enjoy a special rate (RM 620++ per night) at the Eastern & Oriental Hotel, the predecessor of Singapore’s Raffles Hotel, established by the Sarkies brothers.
