Cambodia exported about 11 billion US dollars worth of garment, footwear, and travel products in 2023, decreasing 12%, the General Department of Customs and Excise reports.
Apparel and textiles accounted for over 8 billion dollars in 2023, a drop of 11% from a year earlier.
Footwear products were down more than 21%, while travel goods dropped 8%.
Ministry of Commerce’s Secretary of State and Spokesperson Penn Sovicheat says major buyers of these products are the European Union, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
