This Cookie Policy explains how Vision Finland uses cookies and similar technologies on visionfinland.com. It should be read together with the Vision Finland Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies and similar technologies?
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags and software development tools that store or access information on a device or transmit information about website use.
2. How we use these technologies
We use necessary technologies to operate, secure and remember choices on the website. With your consent, we also use analytics technologies to understand how the website is used and to improve its content and performance.
Non-essential technologies are disabled by default. They are activated only after you make an affirmative choice. Refusing analytics does not prevent access to the core website.
3. Cookie categories

Google Analytics measurement ID: G-6QHY8XWJW6. PostHog is configured with its EU ingestion endpoint. Both services remain disabled unless analytics consent is provided.
5. Data processed through analytics
Analytics may process a cookie or device identifier, IP-derived approximate location, browser and device information, page address, referring page, traffic attribution, timestamps, page views, sessions and interactions with website elements. Form-field content must not be included in analytics or session recording.
6. Third-party content
If optional external content such as a video or social-media embed is added, it will be blocked until the relevant consent is given or the user actively requests the content, as required. Ordinary links to external websites do not activate their cookies on visionfinland.com.
7. How to give, refuse or withdraw consent
When you first visit the website, you may accept all non-essential technologies, reject them, or make category-specific choices. Analytics and other non-essential categories are off by default. No pre-ticked boxes or pre-enabled switches are used.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by selecting Cookie Settings in the website footer. Withdrawal stops future non-essential processing and removes or overwrites the relevant identifiers stored by the website where technically possible. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
8. Browser controls
You may also delete or block cookies through your browser. Browser settings do not replace the website's consent controls and may affect optional functionality.
9. Changes to this Cookie Policy
We update this Cookie Policy and the live cookie inventory when technologies, providers or purposes change. We request consent again when a change materially affects an earlier choice.
